Your CPR COURSE with Firstaid2go. When a person’s heart stops, this is known as ‘cardiac arrest’. They are not responding to you and not breathing.
What is CPR or Cardiopulmonary resuscitation? CPR courses offer a combination of techniques, including breaths and chest compression’s.
When doing CPR your actions are designed to pump the heart. Enabling you to get blood circulating and deliver oxygen to the brain. By providing CPR until professional help arrives it is found that CPR can stimulate the heart to start working again.
Firstaid2go’s CPR Courses will give you the confidence to give CPR a go with confidence in your skills and abilities. Knowing CPR helps save lives.

Firstaid2go ensure that by completing this course it will give you confidence to help in a life-saving and adding an AED increases the person’s chances of survival if started soon after the heart has stopped beating.
If no CPR is performed, it only takes three to ten minutes for the person to become brain dead due to a lack of oxygen.
Using your CPR skills taught to you in your First Aid Course, you will understand the importance to help circulate the blood so it can provide oxygen to the body, and the brain and other organs stay alive while you wait for the ambulance.
There is usually enough oxygen still in the blood to keep the brain and other organs alive for a number of minutes. However, it is not circulating unless someone does cardio pulmonary resuscitation and giving them a chance of recovery.
Helping someone does not guarantee that the person will survive. We know helping someone does give that person a chance of survival. Especially when otherwise there would have been none your help is a start to a possibility of survival.
Using an AED in conjunction with compressions of 30 compressions to 2 breaths will give increased chance at an opportunity of recovery. AED is included in your course as per mandatory requirements.
